The National Monuments Service's description
The building contains two parts of upstanding, clay bonded, pre‐1700 AD historic fabric in its south wall. The main pre‐1700 AD fabric is the surviving chimneypiece that rises through three stories, and has fireplaces that survive internally. An ogham stone (CO067-096----) was found during reconstruction works in 1878.
