The National Monuments Service's description
In level tillage, at the base of a SSE-facing slope. A faint dark-coloured soilmark is visible in a photograph taken in the 1990s (SMR file). There were no visible remains of this feature when the field was inspected in 2008 though a possible burnt mound (CO066-079----) c. 50m to the SW, and also visible in the photograph, was identified.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
