The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on S-facing slope, below summit of Cathair Hill. Roughly circular area (28m E-W; 26m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.1m) SSW->SE; low rise elsewhere. Break in bank to SE. Interior raised on S side to compensate for hillslope.
