In centre of graveyard (CO065-08301-), fragmentary remains of rectangular church (c. 15m E-W; c. 8m N-S). Only two portions of walling stand above ground level: NW corner (max. H 1.6m) and SE corner (max. H 1m); both are featureless overgrown stumps of masonry. Formerly parish church of Ballyspillane, in ruins by 1615 (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 49).
