The National Monuments Service's description
In ringfort (CO065-05901-). Hackett (1854, 55) records local tradition of passage associated with ringfort, leading 'a considerable distance underground to an open space'. Explorations by Hackett uncovered a passage (H 0.35m; Wth 0.35m) with a circular enlargement (diam. 0.6m; H 0.35m) at each end; this was possibly a drain as dimensions appear small for a souterrain. Depression and spoil heap noted in interior of ringfort.
