The National Monuments Service's description
On hillside above Leamlara-Carrigtwohill road. Stone-covered stream to S (L 4m) gives access. Well enclosed in stone walls; corbelled roof; recess contains votive offerings. Mass celebrated (August 15th) on altar at rear.Two small stone-carved human figurines (H 0.44m; Wth 0.15m: H 0.58m; Wth 0.26m) and stone cross (H 0.34m; Wth 0.24m) lie nearby. Surrounding trees adorned with rags.
