The National Monuments Service's description

Rectangular church shown within circular enclosure (CO063-028001-) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; enclosure now levelled. In 1700 described as 'almost 50 foot long....the walls are half of them down....a partition with an arch runs through the middle of it....a ditch about the churchyard....no sign of any graves' (Lunham 1909, 23). Anciently church of St. Michael's parish, called 'Teampuilín' according to Power (1923, 193). No visible surface trace.
