The National Monuments Service's description
At T-junction in road. Overgrown at present and no longer venerated. In similar condition in Hartnett's time (1939, 196), although some votive offerings then remained. Quarry (1896, 382) noted thorn bush with rags at well, which he says was locally called 'Bat's well'.
