The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Levelled; slight rise in area of site. Hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) depicted on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. Hartnett (1939, 67) records 'double rampart and intervening fosse' with outer rampart levelled into fosse, except to W; entrance to E; local tradition of souterrain (CO060-174----). Ringfort (CO060-091001) c. 30m to SW.
