In pasture. Circular area (c. 27m E-W; 24m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.4m), stone-faced externally. Drain (now dry) dug inside bank SE->SW; material from drain banked up on its N side; drain exits fort at SE and SW, cutting through bank. Water flows through deep drain cut outside W bank. Overgrown pile of stones lies just SE of rock outcrop near centre of interior. No visible surface trace of outer bank on N side mentioned by Hartnett (1939, 101); area planted with trees. Standing stone (CO060-083001-) outside W bank no longer survives.
