The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Circular area (32m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 3.2m); shallow external fosse NE->W. Inner face of bank stone-faced W->NE; field clearance material dumped against inner face NE->S. Break in bank to NE (Wth 2.4m) with remains of causeway; second break (Wth 4.4m) to W. Fosse infilled with rubble SE->W where best preserved; truncated by septic tank to ESE. Interior raised on SW side to compensate for hillslope.
