The National Monuments Service's description

Shown as oval area (c. 25m E-W; c. 15m N-S) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; shown as rectangular area and marked 'disused' on 1903 and 1940 OS 6-inch maps. Slightly raised irregular area (18m N-S; 16m E-W) defined on W side by bank of rubble (possibly collapsed wall) and by line of five contiguous slabs on NNW side. Interior covered with loose stones; some uninscribed gravemarkers noted. Bullaun stone (9231) 8m to SW; souterrain (9060) c. 35m to S.
