The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on S-facing slope, in level area sheltered by ridge to N. Low oval-shaped mound (8.5m N-S; 6.5m E-W) built against S side of cairn (7858); at centre circular uncovered drying chamber (H 0.6m; diam. 1.6m) faced with roughly-coursed stones. Stone-lined, lintelled flue (L c. 1.4m) leads into chamber from S side; under surface of lintels heat shattered.
