The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on break in N-facing slope, above escarpment of rock outcrop. Roughly circular, slightly raised area (38.5m E-W; 34.5m N-S) defined by earthen bank (max. H 2m), stone-faced in parts. Entrance (Wth 1.1m) to E. Interior in S half is level; rock outcrop in N half, beyond which ground falls to lower level.
