In rough hill grazing, on a terrace on a S-facing slope and within a network of field boundaries (CO057-008001-). A D-shaped area (12m E-W) defined at the straight E side by a drystone wall (L 12m; T 1m at the base) narrowing as it rises to a height of 1.2m. Elsewhere it is defined by the remains of a stone wall (T 1m; H 0.3m), protruding above the surface of the bog. The almost level interior is raised (H 0.4m) at SW. There is a hut site (CO057-008006-) c. 6m to the SW.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
