The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture on SSW-facing slope, just above steep incline. Good view E->NNW. Circular raised area (30m N-S; 29.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) atop low scarp (H 0.4m). Gaps in bank from ENE->ESE, to SW and to NW. Interior slopes gradually to SSW. Souterrain (CO054-033002-) marked to W of interior on 1936 OS 6-inch map; no visible surface trace.
