The National Monuments Service's description

In tillage, on N-facing slope; fine view to N and E. Circular area (33m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by three earthen banks and fosses: inner bank (H 1.75m); intervening fosse (Wth 6.4m); middle bank (ext. H 2m); second intervening fosse (Wth 5.7m; outer bank (ext. H 1.1m); outer fosse (D 1m) visible SSW->NNW, truncated by field fence to N, ploughed out to E and S. Interior slopes slightly to NE. Possible souterrain (CO053-074---) to ESE; Power (1916, 16) mentions a lios in this townland with souterrains, probably this site.
