The National Monuments Service's description

In tillage, on S-facing slope. Stone (H 1.15m; 1.15m x 0.35m) is rectangular in plan, long axis N-S. Condon (1916, 140) recorded three stones here; two with N-S long axis and 5ft apart (H 41ins; 3ft x 2ft: H 42ins; 2ft 2ins x 1ft 8ins), the third with E-W long axis 72ft to E (H 48ins).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
