The National Monuments Service's description
O Nualláin (1984a, 47) recorded standing stone (H c. 0.6m) and 'several prostrate stones not shown on the OS 6-inch map', c. 80m uphill from anomalous stone group (CO049-003001-). Area now under coniferous plantation. Exact location not known.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
