The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on SE-facing slope, overlooking Laney River valley. Circulararea (42m N-S; 41.1m E-W) defined by earthen bank (max. int. H 1.55m), with external fosse (D 0.9m). Counterscarp bank survives NNW->NNE and ENE->SSE; heavily overgrown. External fosse filled in with field clearance stones SSE->WSW; shallow to W. Gaps in bank to NE (Wth 2.9m) and SE. Land drops sharply down to stream immediately outside enclosure to NE.
