The National Monuments Service's description

In a newly planted coniferous forest, on a gentle NW-facing slope and on the N side of a stream. An oval mound (10m NE-SW; 7.8m E-W; H c. 0.6m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil, overgrown with tall grasses and briars. The mound has not been planted with trees. Two burnt mounds (CO048-180----, CO048-182----) lie c. 110m to the N and NE, respectively.
