The National Monuments Service's description

Broker (1937, 25) recorded two standing stones, known locally as 'a grave' in Mr. Kennedy's land in this townland. They stood 6 feet apart and were '4 or 5 ft. high, 4ft. wide and 1ft. thick'. The ground was raised between them. Exact location not known.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
