The National Monuments Service's description

Shown as circular field on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. In rough grazing at foot of E side of Ballyvouskill Mountain. Circular area (diam. 28m) enclosed by collapsed stone wall (H 1.4m; T 3.5m), topped by later field fence. Original external facing survives in places to W and N. Old cultivation ridges cross interior; low cairn (diam. 2.5m; H 0.5m) in NE quadrant.
