The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on break in NE-facing slope. Circular area (22m E-W; 20m N-S), raised 1.2m on NE side to compensate for hillslope; defined by low, insubstantial, partially grass-covered stone wall (H 0.8m). Locally known as fort. Possible souterrain (8963) in interior.
