The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on NW-facing slope, overlooking stream valley to W and NW. Circular area (52m E-W; 50m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 1.2m). Bank heavily eroded; reinforced externally with stone facing. Interior raised on NW side to compensate for hillslope; E half overgrown with bushes; group of coniferous trees planted in NW quadrant, near centre. To SSE, c. 60m away, is pair of standing stones (6557). May be fort mentioned by Broker(1937, 46) on Dan Dennehy's land as '1/2 acre, bank lined with stones'.
