The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. According to landowner, double-banked ringfort levelled c. 1984. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) defined by low rise survives. Cropmark visible in aerial photograph (CASAP) as two concentric light bands enclosing circular area. Possible souterrain (CO048-024002-) in interior. Broker (1937, 45) records 'three forts, average size,all with double fence' on this farm. Levelled ringfort (8159) in adjoining field.
