Subcircular area (c. 32m N-S; c. 30m E-W) defined by numerous uninscribed grave-markers; enclosed by field fence SW->NW. Ground heavily poached by cattle and overgrown with small trees and bushes. S of centre is wall footing (c. 10m E-W) with straight edge on N side; possibly remains of church wall. On S perimeter, rectangular grave plot enclosed by low wall with railing, heavily overgrown but of 18th/19th-century appearance; marked 'tomb' on 1842, 1904 and 1938OS 6-inch maps. Holy well (9283) immediately outside NNE edge; bullaun stone(9230) c. 15m to SE. O'Donoghue (1986, 219) suggests site of 'St. Ita's church' (from Kilmeedy: Cil Mo Ide) (CO048-018005-).
