The National Monuments Service's description
Broker (1937, 14) recorded two fulachta fiadh on Pat Healy's farm 'in mountain' (see CO047-010---). One was 'part removed same size as other formerly' (i.e. almost 18 feet across, 6 feet high). Exact location not known.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
