The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on E-facing slope, on W side of Owennagloor River. Roughly circular area (33m E-W; 31m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (max. int. H 1.8m); external fosse (D 1.4m) SW->NNE. Bank highest and stone-faced externally SW->NW where incorporated into field fence system. Gap in bank to SW (Wth c. 2.5m); gap to NW (Wth c. 2.5m) is causewayed. Interior divided into three parts; level for c. 7m inside W bank; sharp fall to E; level E half raised to compensate for hillslope. Ringfort (CO047-002----) in view on opposite side of river valley to E.
