The National Monuments Service's description
Large 3-storey 18th century house; seat of the Crockers (Bence-Jones 1978, 187). Hipped roof with central valley; 2 off-centre chimneys. Entrance front (E) of 5 bays; central fanlight door flanked by sidelights. Central Venetian window at 1st floor and Diocletian window at 2nd floor. Two bays deep. Farmbuildings to rear arranged around courtyard.
