The National Monuments Service's description

On edge of forestry, on N-facing slope. Circular area (27.3m N-S; 27.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.6m), except to N where enclosed by scarp with slight internal lip (H 0.2m). External fosse (D 1.2m) NNE->NW; heavily overgrown. Interior raised on N side to compensate for hillslope; possible souterrain (CO045-128---) in N half.
