The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on E-facing slope; no visible surface trace of settlement marked 'site of' on 1842, 1904 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps. No associated structures shown on any editions of OS 6-inch map; 1842 OS 6-inch map does show a regular grid of fields in vicinity of site. Known locally as an ancient village and referred to as "Mallow Field" (Uí Mheiscill 1990, 128).
