In possible ringfort (8644). Investigated by Dr. E. Shee-Twohig in 1976. McCarthy (1977, 168) described single sub-rectangular stone-built chamber (L 2.9m; Wth 0.7m-0.85m; H 1.32m; long axis NW-SE); roofed with capstones, one removed. Entrance shaft (stone-built) at S end of SW side, covered by two capstones; lintelled ope to chamber. Single animal bone found. No visible surface trace.
