The National Monuments Service's description

In ringfort (CO041-075---). Depression (L 8m; max. Wth 5m; D 0.45m) extending from centre towards bank to W may indicate position of collapsed souterrain chambers. Bowman (1934, 561) also noted that a 'depression on the S.W. 5 yds. by 4 by 2 ft. deep, indicates Site of Souterrain'.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
