The National Monuments Service's description
In ploughed field above steep N-facing slope down to stream. Depicted as hachured subcircular enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; circular area (diam. 24m) defined by band of light coloured soil (Wth 2m). Interior slopes down gently to N. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 567) as single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 23yd; bank c. 3ft H) on M. Ryan's land.
