The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured subcircular enclosure on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps. According to local information, levelled c. 1962. Survives as roughly circular area (28.5m NW-SE; 26m NE-SW) defined by low rise (ext. H 0.4m), with slight external depression to NNW and N. Interior slopes down to NE. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 543) as oval-shaped, single-ramparted fort (c. 29yd x 26yd; bank c. 4ft H) on D. Twomey's land.
