The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope, at base of Bweeng Mountain. Circular area (56m E-W) enclosed by three earthen banks with intervening fosses. Inner bank (H 0.75m) and intervening fosse (D 1.05m) survive all round; ruined stone facing noted on inner face of bank to S. Middle bank (H 0.45m) survives WNW->S; remains of stone-facing on inner face of bank. Second intervening fosse (D 0.1m; Wth at base 3m) and third earthen bank (H 0.55m) survives E->S; substantial earthen stone-faced field boundary which skirts enclosure on SW side may incorporate remains of third bank. Entrance (Wth through inner bank 1.8m; through outer bank 3m) to E. Interior slopes down gently to N; three mounds of field clearance material at centre. Souterrains (CO041-08002-; CO041-08003-) in NW and SE quadrants respectively. Bowman (1934, 544) recorded four mounds in interior, the largest 25ft x 12ft x 2ft H; the smallest 4ft x 3ft x 1ft H.
