The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m), skirted by townland boundary to W on 1842 OS 6-inch map; W half only hachured as bank with external fosse on 1904 OS 6-inch map and as scarp with external fosse to SW on 1938 OS 6-inch map. Arc formed by scarp (H 1.65m) survives S->N. Substantial outer earthen bank (int. H 1.7m) exists SW->WNW. Stream running along field boundary skirts bank to W. Circular enclosure visible as cropmark of fosse in aerial photograph (GSIAP, W387). Ancient road (CO041-181---) c. 60m to E of ringfort.
