In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Circular area (30.5m E-W; 29.6m N-S) defined by low rise; intervening grass-covered fosse; outer bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 0.9m) surviving in field boundary system NNE->ESE and as low rise (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.1m) to N and S; external fosse (max. D 0.5m) survives to E and S. Interior slopes down to WSW. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 548) as double-ramparted fort, with saucer-shaped interior c. 4ft higher than outside field level and one-sixth of outer rampart (H c. 7ft) levelled.
