The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on E-facing slope at base of Bailocke Mountain and c. 200m W of Duvglasha River. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 28m) on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps; lime kiln shown at SSE and SW bank on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps respectively. Levelled; arc formed by scarp visible on lower side of slope where interior raised to compensate for hillslope. Soil in area of interior darker than surrounding field. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 542) as single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 28yd) on T. Breen's land, with about 'two-thirds of the circuit, levelled' and an old road passing through it. Site visible as roughly circular overgrown area in aerial photograph on 03-07-1975 (GSIAP, W388). Possible souterrain (CO041-02002-) associated with site.
