The National Monuments Service's description
One of two stones (10014) recorded by Bowman (1934, 256) on T. Kelleher's land; 'This was broken and removed, it was c. 7ft high'. Breaking of stone still recollected locally. Exact location not known but it is known to have stood in field to SW of Nadbeg Bridge.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
