The National Monuments Service's description

Not marked on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. In rough pasture, on crest of low hill. Stone (H 1.15m; 1.35m x 0.75m) is subrectangular in plan and shape, leaning heavily to E; long axis NE-SW. One of a group of three standing stones (10002, 10003).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
