The National Monuments Service's description
In farmyard; recumbent rectangular slab (1.8m x 0.9m x 0.25m), propped on timber supports and serving as workbench. According to Macalister (1945,128-9), part of very tall stone which once stood in nearby ringfort (8224); another section has possible ogham inscription (7992). On underside edge of this stone, facing farmyard, four scores were noted but appear to be marks left when sharpening iron implement.
