The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N-facing slope. Roughly circular area (44.8m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by two banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank composed of earth and stone (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 0.2m), dug into at NNE. Intervening fosse cut into hillside on upslope (D 1.8m); on downslope side base of fosse is at ground level. Outer earthen bank (H 0.3m) low, incorporated into field boundary system to W; broken by numerous cattle gaps. Entrance (Wth 4m) to SW. Interior raised on N side to compensate for hillslope; souterrain (CO040-03302-) in N quadrant.
