The National Monuments Service's description
Grove White (1905-25, vol. 3, 89) recorded the remains of an old road said to have been miraculously made for St Lateerin. It consisted of a section '50 yards long at Garraun [sic.], near the passage to the farmyard of Mr John O'Connor, and about a mile east of Mr Leader's of Keal, and near the bank of the Blackwater. It is not paved' (ibid.). Site could not be located.
