The National Monuments Service's description

'Fort with public road going through it, levelled, partly in Pat Sullivan's' (Broker 1937, 44). Located beside holy well (9281), called 'Cill Eoghain' and was used as a burial place for children (9345) (ibid.,25, 34). No visible surface trace; waste ground to N of roadway. May be site of ringfort later used as burial ground.
