The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Roughly circular, slightly raised area (42mE-W; 39m N-S) enclosed by substantial earthen bank (int. H 2.6m; ext. H 3.7m), with external fosse (D 1.3m); low counterscarp bank (max. H 1.4m) E->W, replaced by field fence W->E. Gaps (Wth c. 2m) in bank to E (with poorly defined causeway), SSE and SW. Cultivation ridges cross interior on NW-SE axis; in SE quadrant two grass-covered ridges (H 0.6m; L 12m), 4m apart, extend from base of bank towards centre; irregularly-shaped grass-covered rise inside W bank. Standing stone (6813) inside bank to NE.
