The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on break in slope and above sharp fall of ground down to SW. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1904 and 1936 OSmaps, bounded on S side by Deer Park wall, which remains standing. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Possibly one of four ringforts recorded in townland by Broker (1937, 49).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
