The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope, above sharp fall down to Finnow River valley floor. Circular area (26m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by three low eroded earthen banks with intervening fosses. Banks 1 (int. H 0.5m) and 2 (max. H 1.2m) survive all round; second bank topped by field fence NW->N; outer bank (H 0.6m) survives NNE->S, with scarp (H 1.4m) to SW and W. Poorly defined entrance (Wth 3.5m) through each bank to SW. Possible souterrain (9082) in interior, which slopes gently down to W. Banks and interior planted with coniferous trees.
