The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Subcircular area (36m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2.5m) E->N; scarp elsewhere. Shallow external fosse (D 0.3m) ESE->SSW. Causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) to SE. Remains of internal stone-facing at base of bank to NW. Interior raised, grass-covered and level. According to Broker (1937, 45), fort in Con Duggan's, '1/4 acre, double fence'. Second ringfort (CO039-038---) c. 150m to NW.
